Energy Return Network (ERN)

A simple, transparent system for documenting regenerative work and issuing Regenerative Energy Tokens (RETs) based on real, verifiable ecological effort.

What is the Energy Return Network?

The Energy Return Network (ERN) is a regenerative accounting system designed to measure, document, and reward ecological work.

Every action that restores, repairs, maintains, or improves land and water produces regenerative energy. ERN tracks this energy using a unit called the Regenerative Energy Token (RET).

A RET acts like a receipt — proof that real, measurable work was done to benefit the natural environment. These RETs can be stored, transferred, or exchanged, giving gig workers, land stewards, and project supporters a transparent way to participate in local regeneration projects.

How ERN Works

📝

Submit a Regenerative Work Claim

Gig workers perform ecological work such as maintenance, remediation, upgrades, or damage control. They document the project with photos, a claim form, and basic project details. The ERN clerk verifies the work and assigns the correct number of REDs (Regenerative Energy Deposits).

🎟️

RETs Are Issued to the Worker

Once the claim is verified, RED units are multiplied by a potency score (P) and converted into RETs. Each RET is recorded in a secure ERN account with full traceability back to the original project.

🔄

RETs Can Be Transferred or Purchased

RET buyers (speculators or project supporters) can view projects, contact workers directly, and purchase RETs via Venmo/PayPal/CashApp. The seller then transfers RETs through the ERN dashboard, and both accounts update instantly.

Why RETs Matter

RETs create a real-world, verifiable way to reward ecological action. Every RET is linked to:

This makes RETs meaningful, transparent, and grounded in the natural economy — not abstract speculation.
