Energy Return Network (ERN)

A simple, transparent system for documenting regenerative work and issuing Regenerative Energy Receipts (RETs) based on real, verifiable ecological effort.

What is the Energy Return Network?

The Energy Return Network (ERN) is a regenerative accounting system designed to measure, document, and reward ecological work.

Every action that restores, repairs, maintains, or improves land and water produces regenerative energy. ERN tracks this energy using a unit called the Regenerative Energy Receipt (RET).

A RET acts like a receipt — proof that real, measurable work was done to benefit the natural environment. These RETs can be stored, transferred, or exchanged, giving gig workers, land stewards, and project supporters a transparent way to participate in local regeneration projects.
